Wow! How much does this cost?

Can I reserve my wedding date with a deposit?

Absolutely! You can reserve your wedding date and the cameras that you want for a fully refundable $50.00 deposit. If you change your mind your deposit is 100% refundable, no questions asked.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept the following major credit cards: American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.

Refund Policy

What is your refund policy?

You can cancel your order at any point up to the time we ship the cameras out to you (several days prior to you wedding) and receive a 100% refund of your order amount. We cannot offer you a refund after we ship the cameras because once the cameras are shipped to you we cannot use them to fill other orders.

Is my deposit refundable?

Absolutely, it is refundable up to the time we ship the cameras to you.

How many pictures can I take with your cameras? And how much HD-video?

Each of our cameras can take over a thousand pictures in high-resolution or thirty minutes of HD-video. Any combination thereof obviously works too!

What cameras and accessories are included with my order?

We currently offer Kodak Z-series cameras, SanDisk removable media and Sanyo eneloop rechargeable batteries. We strive to offer the highest quality components to our customers.

Are you environmentally friendly?

Yes, fotocera is environmentally friendly. Besides the obvious advantage our cameras have over disposables, we offer only rechargeable batteries in all of our cameras.

Shipping

What shipping service do you use?

We ship via UPS nationwide expedited service.

Where does fotocera ship?

We currently ship throughout the United States and Canada. Yes, even Alaska and Hawaii.

How does shipping work?

We ship the cameras to you via expedited UPS service and include a prepaid return mailer for your convenience to ship them back to us in their original box. We’ll even schedule the return pick-up if you like!

When will my cameras arrive?

Your cameras will arrive the day prior to your wedding. This provides the added benefit of having the cameras for other special events leading up to your wedding, such as the rehearsal dinner the night before and preparations the day of.

Do you guarantee my cameras will arrive prior to my wedding?

Yes, we offer an unconditional guarantee your cameras will arrive prior to your event. Should you not receive them the day prior as outlined above, please let us know and we will overnight you a replacement set of cameras and accessories.

How long can I keep the cameras?

We ask you return the cameras to us using the pre-paid shipping label and their original box on the first available business day after your event. We’re happy to schedule the time and place for pick up with our carrier for you!

Insurance

Do you offer insurance? Is insurance included in my order?

We include damage (cosmetic and mechanical) insurance in the cost of all of our rentals. No ticky-tack unforeseen charges here!

What if a camera is damaged or missing at the end of my wedding? Damage insurance is included with all of our camera rentals and you will not be charged a cent as a result. If a camera is missing at the end of an event and will not be able to be returned, we will assess a charge to the credit card on file. The replacement charge for a camera is $150. The charge for an unreturned memory card is $25. The charge for unreturned batteries is $5 per pair. Theft is rarely a problem in our experience. We outline in our provided table instructions that you as host are responsible for the return of all rental equipment. Additionally, all of our cameras are clearly designated with a fotocera label on the front face so as not to have one accidentally mistaken for a personal camera and slipped into a purse or pocket.

How does my photo & video sharing website look?

We take great pride in the photo & video sharing websites we create for our clients. You can take a look at a sample here. As you can see there are lots of layout choices for your viewers.

How long does it take to post the pictures and video?

Your pictures and video will be posted within a week.

Can I share my pictures with family and friends online?

Yes, of course! We’ll provide you with the web address for your unique wedding website featuring your pictures and video via e-mail.

How do my guests know where to go to view the pictures and video?

No problem - we’ll e-mail your guests when your wedding site is up! You're free to enjoy your honeymoon, open up your gifts or simply the pictures once they’re up!

Do my guests have to register to view the pictures?

No, there is no registration necessary to view your pictures.

What security and privacy features do you offer to protect my pictures and video?

When placing your order, you have the choice of a “Private” or “Public” event website. A private website is invisible to the outside world and requires a password to view the event pages. This password will be provided to you and your guests via e-mail when the pictures are available. As the name suggests, a public website does not require a password, making it very easy for your family & friends to access all the great photos & video.

Can my guests upload their pictures and video from their own personal digital cameras?

Yes, of course. We provide these instructions in the notification e-mail to your guests.

What can my guests and I do with the pictures and video from my wedding website?

Your pictures are yours! You and all of your guests have unlimited access to view, print and download the pictures and video.

How long is my wedding website available? Do you charge for your hosting?

Your wedding website is posted for a minimum of one year. And no, we do not charge a fee whether one-time or monthly for hosting like some of our competitors.

What other services do you offer besides camera rental and hosting?

What is a CD mailer?

CD mailers are blank discs you can provide to your guests who bring their own cameras. At home, guests can burn the images and video from their camera to the disc, mail it to us in the provided prepaid postage envelope. Upon receipt, we will add their personal pictures to your wedding website for everyone to view. Order CD mailers here.

Who does your professional prints? What is offered in terms of sizes?

All of our processing is professional by a reputable, nationally-known company. You and your guests can order any size and number of prints.

What is a Mementos™ disc (CD/DVD)?

Mementos™ discs are CDs/DVDs loaded with your wedding photographs and video that can be browsed on any PC and many other devices. We offer three tiers of Mementos™ dics. Mementos™ CDs have a custom printed black & white front and arrive on a spindle. Mementos™ DVDs have a full color custom front and are individually packaged in a paper sleeve. Finally, Mementos™ Jacket DVDs have the same custom full color front, but arrive in a movie-style, full color custom DVD case.

What is a Slide show DVD?

Slide show DVDs are professionally-prepared with photos & videos of your choosing or we’re happy to carefully select the best of your photos & video. We also welcome your requests for audio, including musical selections, to accompany your photographs. Your wedding video with audio will be featured on a separate portion of the disc. The DVDs can be viewed in any DVD-capable device, such as your home DVD player or PC.

What are your keepsake photo books?

We offer three different versions of our keepsake photo books: 20pg 3.75" x 2.5", 30pg 5" x 7", and a 30pg 8.5" x 11". The smaller photo books make a great favor to send to your wedding guests as a 'Thank You' and the larger sizes are great for the wedding party or special guests. You can order the photo books here.
